Lions Lacrosse Takes Loss Against Erie CC

(Garden City, NY) Nassau Women's Lacrosse went head to head with Lake Erie Community College at home on Saturday.
 
Julianne Avazis, Yenifer Molina, Tammy Yu and Jamie Cavanaugh each scored 1 goal for the Lions. Goalie Anita DeSantis had a total of 9 saves. Unfortunately, the women couldn't pull out the win, and were defeated 15-4.
 
"Overall the women showed great team spirit today and didn't let anyone down. We are looking forward to our next home contest against Essex." stated Head Coach Maria Varricchio after the game.
