(Selden, NY) On Wednesday, the Women's Softball team traveled to compete against the Suffolk Sharks.
Suffolk got to business right from the beginning, scoring 9 points in the first inning and 10 in the second. The Lions had a difficult time coming back from this, but never gave up the fight. In the 4th inning, Pitcher
Corrine Haab hit a double and scored Nassau's first run. Suffolk went home with the victory finishing 24-1.
It has been a tough start to the season for the Lions, but the team is looking forward to the double header at home against Suffolk on Saturday. Games will be held at 12 and 2 PM ET.
