NCC came out strong, scoring their first goal early.
Hannah Woodward took a corner kick that bee lined straight for
Kayla Murphy, who headed the ball in to capture their first goal. Not long after another shot on goal was deflected by the Monroe goalie, and
Maya Jones shot it into the back of the net for goal number two.
Just passing the 10 minute mark,

"In the second half the girls really started making a lot of great passes, and utilized their defense more. You could see them having fun, and enjoying themselves out on the field. We are looking forward to taking this type of energy into tournament play in a few short weeks." stated Head Coach
Chris Megaloudis post game.
