(Garden City, NY) The Nassau Coliseum will be hosting the first UFC event ever this Saturday which will feature three former Nassau Community  College student/athletes. 

The night starts off with Chris Wade, a former NJCAA National runner-up while at NCC. Chris is also one of four members of his family that attended the college and became All Americans. The first Wade to claim All American honors was his dad Tom followed by his two brothers Lance and Kyle. Chris is 11-3 as a professional fighter.

The next former Nassau CC alumni fighting is Ryan LaFlare, Ryan wrestled at Nassau before transferring to SUNY Farmingdale. Ryan is 13-1 in the UFC.

The Main Event of the night is our own Chris Weidman, who was a 2x NJCAA All American. Chris is the former middle weight world champion. Chris is looking get back in the national spotlight and reclaim his title.
Chris was also a two time NCAA All American at Hofstra University, where he earned a degree in Education.
