(Blackwood, NJ) Nassau Men's Wrestling competed against Camden Community College
on Saturday morning. This was a big match for the Lions as Camden use to be in the same region as NCC until recent years. Camden was also 2
nd in the country last season meaning that they were bringing some stiff competition.
Starting things off in weight class 125 –
Christopher Pereira pinned Alex Velez to capture the first solid win of the day.
John Arceri captured the 141-weight class win by fending off Jason Groff.
The victories continued with pins from Christopher Meloni in 149 and
Antonio LaRocca in 165.
Michael Abidin went round for round with Matt O'Donnell before defeating him 0-3.
Overall the Lions won handily, 44-6. This puts them at 8-6 for the season.
