Box Score (Lincroft, NJ) On Tuesday, the Nassau Women's Soccer Team traveled to New Jersey to take on Brookdale Community College.

The Lions took the lead early against the Jersey Blues when Melissa Perdomo was the first to find the back of the net. After the initial score, both teams seemed to struggle to convert shots on goal into points. It was still 1-0 going into the second half, but that didn't last long as Brookdale snuck 2 goals past the Nassau defense. The final score tallied up to 3-1. Melissa Perdomo and Claudia Andrade both had outstanding and notable performances on defense.

Head Coach Chris Megaloudis commented after the game, "I knew this was going to be a tough one as Brookdale is always a strong opponent for us. I'm positive we will be ready next time around. We are so proud of the women for giving their everything they had today."

The Lions are now 4-3 for the season. They play again next Tuesday at home against Manhattan Community College.
