The Lions Men's Golf Team opened their season with the Suffolk CC Invitational at Mill Pond Gold Course in Medford, NY Monday afternoon. The Lions had a strong showing in their first tournament of the season with course conditions playing fast with temperatures dropping below 50' and wind conditions of up to 25 mph. The team placed first overall out of five with two freshmen Brody Wynne and Kevin O'Rourke having tied in first place both shooting a 78. Sophomore Thomas Moccia also performed well earning himself a second place finish. The Lions look forward to next week as they go up against Old Westbury at Eisenhower.
