Adding to his already long resume Men's Basketball Coach AJ Wynder wins the Region XV Coach of the Year. He won this after the Lions were able to secure the top spot in the conference after finishing the season with a conference record of 16-2 and an overall regular season record of 20-4 which included a nine game win streak. This is Wynder's fifth Region XV Coach of the Year award (2017, 2016, 2014, 2002). However Coach Wynder's season is not done as after successfully defeating Kingsborough in the first round of the Region XV playoffs they look forward to playing the winner of #4 Queensborough and #5 Hostos in the Semifinal round of the Region XV tournament which will be hosted at neutral site Kingsborough on Saturday March 4th at 4 PM.
