Lions Men's Basketball Freshman Guard Donte Howard has been named to the Region XV First-Team All-Region. Howard has been an elite guard terrorizing opposing teams through his high motor and basketball IQ. Defensively he applies a ton of pressure on opposing guards forcing the ball out of their hands and if they do try handle against him he averages just under two steals per game. Offensively Howard is a floor general orchestrating and facilitating his teammate through getting penetration attacking the basket and giving his teammates opportunities. Howard has started 20 out 24 games played this year and has been an essential piece in their success. He looks to help lead the Lions to victory as they play the winner of #4 Queensborough and #5 Hostos in the Semifinal round of the Region XV tournament which will be hosted at neutral site Kingsborough on Saturday March 4th at 4 PM.
