The Lions traveled to Chester Pennsylvania for the Widener University Invitational and had a great showing.  Natalya Rodney lowered her 200 meter time to 26.04 which ranks her at number two in the nation. Rodney Yarborough crushed the national standard in the javelin throwing 41 meters. The men's 4x100m relay of Derrick Sperling, Isaiah Lee, Tyreece Dacosta, and Cameron Powell ran two seconds under the national standard running 45.19. Dillan Powell just missed the national standard of 5'10 in the high jump, Jahmire Da Cruz is only 1 foot short of the standard in both the triple and long jump. An excellent performance by all our athletes.
