The Nassau Community College esports program won two SUNY Esports championships in Valorant and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate last week.

Daniel Blanco completed a perfect season, winning all regular season and playoff matches en route to claiming the state title. He defeated SUNY Fredonia's AJ LaMacchia in the grand final on May 2.
The Valorant team, which entered the playoffs as the second seed, defeated fifth-seeded Binghamton University "A" in the grand final by a score of 3-1 on May 3. After losing the first round, the Lions rallied for three straight wins in rounds two through four to claim the state championship.

• Second-seeded NCC eliminated fifth-seeded SUNY Binghamton to win the SUNY Grand Finals.
• NCC now holds two state championships.
