The Nassau Community College men's soccer team extended its winning streak to four with a 4-0 victory over Orange County Community College on Thursday evening at Mitchel Field. Nassau showcased balance and control from start to finish, with four different players finding the net and the defense locking down Orange County's attack. The Lions improved to 5-2 in Region XV, continuing their strong run through conference play.
How It Happened
- First Half:Â The Lions wasted no time striking early, as Jeremy Ramos scored in the 5th minute off a feed from Christian Cabrera. Nassau doubled the lead in the 26th minute when Cristhian Ramos Monsalve finished a chance created by Ned Devine and Alexis Gomez. Just before halftime, Mohamed Alsayedi buried an unassisted goal in the 41st minute to make it 3-0.
- Second Half:Â Nassau controlled possession after the break, generating 14 more shots. In the 85th minute, Juan Nunez sealed the result with a penalty kick after being tripped inside the box. The Lions defense held Orange County to only three shots all match.

- Ramos, Ramos Monsalve, Alsayedi, and Nunez each scored for Nassau.
- Gomez, Devine, and Cabrera each tallied assists.
- Goalkeeper Bryan Hernandez needed just one save to earn the shutout.
- Nassau outshot Orange County 33-3, including 11 shots on goal, and held a 10-1 advantage in corner kicks.
