Result

The #3 Nassau Community College men's lacrosse team defeated Mercer County Community College by a score of 23-3 on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened

• Jack Lepore opened the scoring just 80 seconds into the game on an unassisted goal. 
• Jake Lewis and Matt Drayton also scored in the first quarter, before Brady Dolan, the NJCAA Player of the Week, scored three consecutive goals. Joe O'Connell scored the last goal of the quarter to lead 9-0.
• Boden Bounds and Connor Haag added to the scoring in the third quarter, and Haag had the only two goals for Nassau in the fourth quarter.
• Nine Lions scored in the win, and 11 total players tallied points.
• Nassau took 65 (37 SOG) total shots, compared to 18 (9 SOG) by Mercer.
• The Lions caused 14 turnovers and collected 63 ground balls.

• Jack Lepore led the team in goals with five, along with three assists for eight points.
• Brady Dolan also notched eight points off of four goals and four assists, with a .833 SOG %. He also totaled seven ground balls.
• Jake Lewis, Connor Haag, and Mark Griffen each scored three goals.
• Cameron Clarke contributed three assists.
• Jack Magyar, Elijah Porter, and Ryan Murphy each had two caused turnovers.
• Michael Zecchini went 18-19 in the faceoff circle with 18 ground balls.
• Goalkeeper Conor Dobson earned the win in net with three saves.
