Regular Season Recap
Nassau opened the season with a statement, sweeping Midwestern State University 3-0. Behind crisp communication and aggressive ult economy management, the Lions asserted themselves early, setting the tone for the weeks to follow.
In Week 2, they delivered a 3-1 victory over Emory & Henry College, with Sydney Goodwin and Tyler Ramirez anchoring key teamfights through map control and backline pressure.
One of the season's most exciting matchups came in Week 3 against Purdue White, where Nassau fought through five intense maps to come out on top 3-2. Ryan Koenig played a pivotal role in Nassau's clutch defensive holds and overtime plays.
The Lions continued to roll with a 3-1 win over the University of South Florida, maintaining their perfect record while further refining their synergy. DPS players Aidan Sharp and Kyle Perry helped swing key skirmishes, especially in the mid-fight phase.
Perhaps their grittiest win came in Week 5—a rematch against John Brown Esports. In a nail-biting 3-2 victory, Nassau executed late-game strategies with confidence and composure, reversing momentum and closing out with map dominance.
The regular season concluded with a clean 3-0 sweep over Keiser Jax OW2, locking in the team's sixth straight win and securing their place among the top seeds in the playoff bracket.
Postseason Performance
Entering the playoffs as the #3 seed, Nassau faced a tough draw in their first-round rematch against #14-seeded John Brown University—a team they had edged out just weeks earlier. This time, John Brown came in with adjustments, and Nassau struggled to find consistent openings, falling 0-3 in the series.
While the early exit was not the outcome the Lions had hoped for, their regular season accomplishments—and undefeated record up until playoffs—stand as a major milestone in the team's evolution.
