Previous Experience: Played collegiate soccer all four years at Stony Brook University. Was a three-time selection on the All-America East First Team, as well as named NSCAA All-Northeast Region Second Team. Palacio triumphantly led the team to the NCAA tournament in 2005 with 25 points, 7 goals, 11 assists. To this day, he is still Stony Brook's all-time leader in assists, and was named America East Midfielder of the Year in 2006.
He was initially drafted to the New York Red Bulls in the second round, 21st overall, in the 2008 MLS Supplemental Draft, and fully signed with the team in January of 2008.
Palacio was also a member of the Long Island Rough Riders & FK Radnicki Obrenovac in 2009, and Sevilla FC PR in 2010.Â
