Simply put I am inspired by accomplishment, my own or others. I teach my students/athletes the value of hard work and that that quality carries over in real life, in the work place, at home in their family life. So when my students or athletes accomplish something I truly am inspired.
Achievements: Taught Physical Education at Suffolk Community College for 6 years, Coached Suffolk's Brentwood campus women's volleyball team in the Region XV for 3 years compiling a total record of 50-16. Ive been teaching Physical Education and coaching women's volleyball and basketball at Nassau Community College since 2008. My volleyball record is 159-94 for Nassau CC. My combined (with Suffolk) record for the Region XV is 209-110. Region XV Volleyball Champions: 2008, 2009, 2010, 2015. At the Volleyball National Tournament we finished each year in the following placement: 2008 - 6th in the Nation 2009 - 7th in the Nation 2010 - 4th in the Nation 2015 - 8th in the Nation Region XV Volleyball Coach of the Year: 2008, 2010, 2015. District F Volleyball Coach of the Year: 2008, 2009, 2010, 2015. My Basketball record in the Region XV is 109-71. Region XV Basketball Champions: 2012, 2015 Finished 8th in the Nation in 2012 and 7th in the Nation in 2015. Region XV Basketball Coach of the year: 2015 District D Basketball Coach of the Year: 2012, 2015. I played Volleyball and Basketball at William Floyd High School. I received my Associates from Sullivan Community College where i played 2 years of volleyball. I earned my Bachelors in Athletic Administration from SUNY New Paltz where I played 2 years of volleyball and basketball, and my Masters in Physical Education from Adelphi University.
