(Garden City, NY) The second ranked lions took on the seventh ranked sharks from Suffolk Community College on Tuesday March 27th at Mitchel Field.  

The Lions scored the first five goals of the game to make the score 5-0 until Suffolk answered with two of their own in the second quarter to make the score 5-2.  Each team scored a goal each to finish off the second quarter giving Nassau a 6-3 lead going into the half.  Nassau scored the first goal of the third quarter making it 7-3, then Suffolk answered with one to make it 7-4.  Nassau then rattled off the next 3 goals in the third quarter taking a 10-4 lead into the final frame.  Nassau added two more goals in the fourth quarter to make the final 12-4.

Billy Kelly was impressive in the cage yet again while Taylor Jensen, Brian Schaefer, Haze Rainis, Aidan Conk, Dave Mahler, Vin DeCeglia, Kevin Meaney, Scott Sasso and Tyler Butrico led the impressive defensive effort.

Justin Roderka led the scoring effort with 4 goals.  Mike Zito (3 goals), Eddie Munoz (2 goals, 1 assist), Braydon Cresswell (3 assists) had 3 points each, Jack Mullen had one goal and one assist, and Dylan Villari and Mike Kadnar had a goal each to round out the scoring.
