(Garden City, NY) The lions opened up the scoring with three goals in the first five minutes before Navy answered back with a goal of their own to make the score 3 to 1 with three minutes left to play in the first quarter. The lions went on a four goal run to finish the first quarter with a lead of 7 to 1.
Nassau opened up the second quarter with three goals to make the score 10 to 1 before Navy answered back with two goals, while Nassau had a goal in between to make the score 11 to 3 at the half.
Navy opened up the third quarter with a goal, before Nassau went on a ten goal run between the third and fourth quarters to make the score 21 to 4. Navy had two goals at the end to close out the game and with a final score of 21 to 6.

Brian Schindler were also impressive in the victory. Offensively the Lions were paced by sophomores
Jack Mullen with 6 goals,
Dylan Villari with 5 points (2G, 3A),
Trevor Regnier 4 points (1G, 3A). Sophomores
Mike Zito (2G, 1A),
Evan Killen (1G, 1A) and Pat Morris (2A) also chipped in on offense. Freshmen
Eddie Munoz (2G, 2A) and
Braydon Cresswell (2G, 2A) had 4 points each, while
Justin Roderka (2G, 1A) and
Danny Pulis (2G, 1A) had 3 points each, and
Taylor Jensen had 1 goal and 1 assist.
The lions are back in action Saturday March 10th, 2018 @ 12:00pm as they host top-ranked Onondaga Community College.
