Box Score (Toldeo, OH) Last Saturday, Nassau Football traveled to the Midwest to compete against the College of Dupage.
With the first quarter scoreless, it was Dupage who broke the barrier to get on the score board first in the second quarter. Nassau didn't waste much time and scored off of a pass from Steve Sanchez to
Anton Reed to tie up the game 7-7. The score went back and forth with Dupage going up by 2 touchdowns, 20-7. Both teams scored again before time was up, making the score 27-14 Dupage going into halftime.
In the third quarter both teams scored again, keeping the Lions a safe distance from catching up, 34-20. The game didn't really turn around for the Lions until Nick Oliver's interception late in the fourth quarter. It all came down to kicker
Kevin Rodriguez, who booted the game winning points through the goal posts as time expired and the Lions snagged the victory 37-34.

Jamel Ramsay commented, "This was an extremely exciting game that really came down to the wire. We've done well coming from behind the past few games, and I am really proud that the men haven't never given up."
Other outstanding performances were made by quarterback Steve Sanchez, who finished with 440 passing yards and 5 touchdowns, and freshman running back
Anton Reed who recorded a total of 3 touchdown receptions.
This weekend, the Lions will be hosting Erie CC at home. There are 4 games left in the regular season.
