(Garden City, NY) On Thursday night, the Nassau Women's Basketball Team suited up for their first inner conference game of the season against Queensborough. The Lions had a solid confidence boost coming off of their previous win against Division I ASA, while Queensborough was coming off of their first loss from Bunker Hill on November 1st.
From the beginning, Nassau did not hold back. They opened up with an incredible 28-0 run to set the tone of the game. By halftime, the Lions lead 80-5. Nassau didn't let up and held Queensborough to only 9 points in the second half. The final score was 94-13.
Bobbi Green led Nassau with 14 points. Abby Babatunde was close behind her tallying a total of 12.
"Despite the score tonight, we have areas of improvement that need our attention this week at practice to help get to our best. We are constantly working to improve." commented Head Coach

The Lions will be back in action this weekend as they go up against Manhattan CC on Saturday.
