(Poughkeepsie, NY) Nassau traveled upstate this weekend to go head to head with Dutchess Community College. The Falcons were 5-4 going into the game.
Although the Lions got out to a slower start than usual, communication on defense helped set them up for an 8-0 run to start the 2nd quarter and lead them to score 32 points before halftime. In the second half Nassau had 13 assists and only 7 turnovers. They took home the victory 88-58.
Cherish Francis led the team was 21 points, while Roesha Samuels had 13. Alexis Aponte recorded 12, and Giavanna Faison tallied 10.

The Lions are undefeated with a 12-0 record for the season.
Next Tuesday, Nassau will play Suffolk at home.
