Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 (Poughkeepsie, NY) Over the weekend, the Women's Volleyball team traveled to Poughkeepsie to take on Dutchess CC. This was the first of 2 games for the day.

Nassau came out hot, winning the first set 25-20. They faltered ever so slightly in the second set, which cost them a loss, 23-25. The Lions found their groove and dominated the third and fourth sets, winning (25-21) and (25-20), respectively.

Britney Diaz led the team to victory with her leadership. She was a source of constant positive communication on the court, which helped the Lions keep the momentum going.

Head Coach Kristine Abrams commented, "I am over the moon for our women. We finally found the right combination and got ourselves a win. It was certainly a boost of confidence that we will take into the next game against Monroe-College Bronx."
