The newly No. 5 ranked Lions traveled to Manhattan to face the Borough of Manhattan Panthers. The Lions came out the gate hot with Ahunna Okoko and Keyshawn Kennedy both scoring double digits in the first half en route to the 1st half score being 50-31. The second half proved to be similar to the first half with every player for the Lions scoring on a tremendous 70% shooting from the field and 44% from the 3-point line. Darius Young led the Lions in scoring, dropping 21 points. Other contributions came from Okokowho finished with 17 points and 8 rebounds; Kennedy who finished with 16 points 4 rebounds and 3 steals; Sahdique Watkins who manged to swipe the ball from Manhattan 4 times himself and Shabue Mosley who came off the bench providing 13 points en route to the Lions 106-80 victory.
