The Lions hosted the Suffolk County Sharks in Tuesday matchup that would come down to the final possession. Nassau started the game on a roll managing to take a lead against the Sharks through great defense and good offensive execution. By the time the first half had concluded the Lions had built an eleven point lead with the score being 33-22 in the Lions favor. The second half became an opposite of the first as the Sharks managed to get on a roll both offensively and defensively. They managed to make the Lions take difficult and contested shots and manged to get nine steals as well as they managed to mount a comeback and eventually defeat the Lions with a final score of 67-66. Shabue Mosley who scored 17 points as well as grab 5 rebounds.
Ahunna Okoko who managed to score 16 points and 6 rebounds.
Sahdique Watkins who provided the Lions with 15 points and 6 assists. Lastly, Lamont Hough Jr. posted a glass cleaning double-double with 11 points and 16 rebounds. This game was the second loss in a row for the Lions as they look to get things back on track and back in their winning ways. In their next matchup they face Kingsborough on the road.
