The Lions traveled to Brooklyn for a road matchup against the Kingsborough Wave. The Lions looked to get on track again and bounce back after suffering tough back to back one point losses at home to Monroe-Bronx and Suffolk. The Lions came ready to play this night as they were executing their offensive game plan and suffocating on defense. The first half concluded with the Lions leading the Wave by a score of 48-23. The second half proved to be much of the same as the Lions were able to overall execute their game plan as six players managed to record double digit points. The Wave performed better in the second half however the Lions offense was performing better than they did in the first half as well as operating with a sizeable lead. The Lions would go on to sustain their halftime lead and secure the victory by a score of 99-61. The Lions standout performers were
Sahdique Watkins posting a double-double with 11 points, 11 assists, and 5 rebounds. Accompanying him was
Shabue Mosley who scored 14 points, 7 rebounds as well as 5 steals. Lamont Hough Jr. also provided 13 points of his own as well securing 6 rebounds. The Lions look to continue securing victories as their next matchup is a road game at Hostos.
