The Lions hosted the Westchester Vikings in a weekend matchup. The Lions entered the matchup having won their previous matchup, defeating Monroe-Bronx in straight sets. The Vikings looked to turn things around having only won one of their last three matches. The Lions came into the matchup clicking and playing well as it seemed things had come together as early on in the season they appeared to struggle against teams. The Lions won the first set by a score of 25-15, Westchester would perform better in the second set however the Lions would go on the win the second set as well by a score of 25-18. Westchester would not go away easily as they came out in the third set and won it by a score of 25-22. The Lions would close the door on any possible comeback attempt in the fourth set winning it and the match by a score of 25-16. Some standout performers for the Lions were Juliet Burns who had 29 digs and seven Aces, Isabella Barretta with 14 assists and Chloe Marquardt with eight kills and 10 assists.
