The Lions traveled to New Rochelle to face the Monroe College Mustangs in a afternoon matchup part of the Monroe College Invitational. The Lions had a difficult time trying decipher the Mustangs as the Lions struggled to develop a rhythm when it came to scoring as Monroes defense was top notch. The Lions would never seem to develop an offense that was capable to get points on Monroe as the Lions would lose in straight sets by the scores of 25-6; 25-6; 25-7.
