Game 1

Nassau Community College Lions Varsity got out to a six-run lead in the eighth inning and held on for a 12-11 victory over Monroe Express on Thursday.  Monroe Express scored five runs in the failed comeback on a double by #9, a single by #6, and a error.

Jack Ingoglia collected four hits in four at bats to help lead Nassau Community College Lions Varsity to victory.  Ingoglia singled in the third, singled in the fifth, doubled in the seventh, and singled in the eighth.

Nassau Community College Lions Varsity got things started in the first inning.  Donaven Kregeloh drove in one when Kregeloh singled.

Nassau Community College Lions Varsity notched five runs in the eighth inning.  The offensive onslaught by Nassau Community College Lions Varsity was led by Chris McGuggart, Ingoglia, Sean Tierney, and James Brush, who all drove in runs.

Nassau Community College Lions Varsity took the lead late and defeated Monroe Express 9-5 on Thursday.  The game was tied at four with Nassau Community College Lions Varsity batting in the bottom of the seventh when Jack Ingoglia singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.

Nassau Community College Lions Varsity earned the victory despite allowing Monroe Express to score three runs in the second inning.  The offensive onslaught by Monroe Express was led by #40 and #24, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Monroe Express got things started in the second inning.  #40 drove in two when #40 homered.

After Monroe Express scored one run in the top of the third, Nassau Community College Lions Varsity answered with one of their own.  Monroe Express scored when #40 singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.  Nassau Community College Lions Varsity then answered when James Brush doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Thomas Miden led things off on the hill for Nassau Community College Lions Varsity. The pitcher allowed six hits and four runs over two innings, striking out one and walking one.
