The Lions hosted the Queensborough Tigers in a Thursday night matchup. This was the Lions first game since December 19th and they looked to get back into their groove and winning ways. Queensborough entered this game 1-2 in their last three games as they also looked to bounce back back and get in the W column. The Game opened with Queensborough jumping out to a lead but as the first half continued the Lions got back into the swing of things and got rolling. The Lions would bounce back and go into halftime with a 42-30 lead. The Lions came out in the second half and didn't look back as continued their first half success as they went on to win by a score of 86-65. Some of the Lions top performers were
Keyshawn Kennedy who posted a double-double recording 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Volkan Levent led the Lions in scoring dropping 24 points accompanied by four assists and two steals.
Shabue Mosley and
Abdul Seck also provided the Lions with vital points as Mosley recorded 11 points and eight rebounds while Seck provided 12 points. The Lions look to get on a roll and record another win as their next matchup sees them on the road to face the Rockland Hawks.
