The Lions headed into the Bronx to take on the Broncos in a Tuesday evening matchup. The Broncos looked to bounce back and get a win at home as they had lost their previous game while the Lions looked to knock the rust off and get into the win column as they haven't played since December. The Lions came out and wasted no time getting back into the swing of things as in the first quarter they got a four point lead over the Broncos and in the second quarter repeated a similar successful execution as they went into halftime with a 28-23 lead. Coming out of the half with a five point lead the Lions managed to step on the gas and not look back as they would play stingy defense and execute on offense securing a win by the score of 54-35. Gemma Pohalski as she recorded a double-double with 21 points, 12 rebounds, 7 steals, and 5 assists.
Frances Brown also recorded a double-double of her own with 15 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks.
Ashley Vigliotti also recorded 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 stelas in the Lions victory.
