The Lions host the Rockland Hawks in a Saturday afternoon matchup. The Lions entered the game having just come off of a victory against the Westchester Vikings while the Hawks came off of a victory against Monroe-Bronx. The Lions started the match in great form as they were able to win the first set by a score of 25-17. Rockland answered back to the Lions as they won the second set by a score of 25-20. The third set saw both teams compete at a high level as they exchanged back and forth with the Lions eventually able to win the set 25-23. Rockland would then answer once again with a fourth set victory of 25-18. The match would come down to a final fifth set in which Rockland managed to pull out a 15-9 victory against the Lions.
