The Lions hosted the Hostos Caimans in a Sunday afternoon matchup. The Caimans entered the matchup coming off a loss to Monroe looking for a bounce back win against the Lions who entered this matchup coming off of a victory against Middlesex. The game started close with both teams playing solid defense as by the end of the first quarter the Caimans were up by only two points, The Lions had a slow second quarter scoring wise and this allowed the Caimans to add to their lead and go into halftime with an eight point lead as the score 27-19. The Lions would attempt to mount a comeback as they outscored the Caimans in the third quarter but the lead proved to be too much to overcome as the Lions would eventually lose to the Caimans b a score of 62-55. Gemma Pohalski who recorded a double-double with 11 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Frances Brown who recorded 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Ashley Vigliotti also contributed to the Lions effort with 11 points of her own.
