The Lions the Monroe- Bronx Express in a Tuesday night matchup. Monroe- Bronx entered the matchup coming in off of a victory against Springfield Technical while the Lions looked to bounce back after a hard fought loss against Hostos. The Lions started the game struggling to score as Monroe- Bronx jumped out to an early lead however the Lions would bounce back with a strong second quarter as they entered halftime down by the score of 27-23. Entering the second half of play it was much like the first withthe Lions struggling to score as Monroe- Bronx came out hot early and while the Lions did bounce back in the fourth they were not able to overcome the lead as they fell to Monroe- Bronx by a score of 59-52. Some top performances from the Lions came from Ashley Vigliotti with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Gemma Pohalski with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Finally, Frances Brown with 8 points and 10 rebounds.
