The Lions hosted the Monroe-Bronx in a Tuesday showdown that saw Monroe enter the game having won two of their last three while the Lions entered having two of their last three as well. This game would be a rematch in which the first game saw Monroe- Bronx walk away with a hard fought overtime victory, The Lions looked to get revenge for their previous game as they started the game hot on both the offensive and defensive side. The Lions were able to penetrate the Monroe- Bronx defense and make tough basket after tough basket. The Lions jumped out to a lead and kept their foot on the pedal as they turned defensive stops into quick offensive points and entering halftime the Lions were by a score of 48-29. The second half saw the Lions manage to play great basketball as they knocked down shots from all over the floor and rebound well and play solid defense forcing Monroe-Bronx to take tough shots. The Lions controlled the pace of the game and work the clock to their advantage and managed to secure a 87-68 victory. Some top performances came from

Ahunna Okoko who had a bounce back performance in his first game coming off injury with 20 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds.
