The Lions hosted the Westchester Vikings in a Thursday night game that saw it come down to the wire. The Vikings entered the game having dropped two of their last three games while the Lions have won two of their last three. From the opening tip off both teams where battling neck and neck refusing to give their opposition any easy baskets. The first half concluded with both teams tied at 29. The second half was a mirror performance of the first as both teams continued to battle back and forth with the Lions coming through victorious by a single basket 61-59. The Lions top performers were Keyshawn Kennedy who recorded a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Shabue Mosley contributed with 11 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals. Volkan Levent contributed with 15 points and 4 rebounds.
