The lions hosted the Hostos Caimans in a Sunday afternoon matchup. The Caimans entered this game having won two of their last three games as well as having a victory the last time these two teams met. The Lions entered this game having won two of their last three and looked for a revenge win. Both teams came out the gate neck and neck as they both looked to establish their style of play early on, the Lions attacked the basket aggressively and the Caimans were knocking down shots from all over the floor. by the end of the first half it was the Lions who were up by the score of 36-31. The second half saw both teams execute better on the offensive end as the Lions added onto their lead and while Hostos managed to knock down some late game shots the lead proved to be too big to overcome as the Lions got their revenge victory by a score of 79-67.
