#12 Women's Volleyball Moves to 10-0

Result

The #12 Nassau Community College women's volleyball team defeated Monroe-Bronx by a score of 3-1 on Thursday evening to move to 10-0 on the season, and 8-0 in Region XV play.

How it Happened

  • Nassau took the first set by a score of 25-5, and went on a 13 point run early on to secure the lead. Both teams continuously traded points for a close second set, but the Lions held onto the lead. Monroe edged out Nassau in the third set, coming from behind with an eight point scoring run to end the set, before Nassau closed out the match by taking set four.
  • Nassau totaled 44 kills, compared to Monroe's 23.
