The Nassau Community College men's basketball team defeated LaGuardia Community College by a score of 83-47 on Thursday evening.

How it Happened

• Nassau's lead grew quickly in the first half with the help of four three-pointers from Sean Walsh within the first eight minutes of play.
• The Lions largest lead in the first half was 20 points, and the score was 37-22 at halftime.
• Nassau's first points of the second half came by way of another three-pointer from Walsh.
• Nassau had ten players score points in the game, with five of them scoring double-digits.
• The Lions forced 23 turnovers by the Red Hawks, good for 31 points off turnovers.
• Nassau held the advantage on the boards, out-rebounding LaGuardia 36-22, with 46 points in the paint.

Notes

• Sean Walsh led the team with 15 points, coming off of five three-pointers.

• Jack Shields scored ten points, with two three-point shots.
• Adrian Rosario scored a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
• Donte Howard and Abraham Traore each scored 11 points. Howard also totaled five steals.
• Sebastian Bernard contributed nine points with six assists.
