The 2024 men's soccer season was a remarkable campaign, marked by outstanding individual performances and collective success. Under the leadership of Head Coach Dan Fisher, the Nassau's men's soccer program once again demonstrated excellence on the field, winning the NJCAA Region XV Championship and earning top honors. Several players were recognized for their exceptional performances throughout the season. Here are the key award winners from Nassau Community College:

Region XV Coach of the Year: Dan Fisher

Led Nassau to a 14-1-2 overall record, and 10-0-2 in conference play. Won the NJCAA North Atlantic District Championship and Region XV Championship.

Region XV Player of the Year: Nicolai Peralta

Sophomore, Defense - Peralta is an integral part of Nassau's defensive line. The Lions have only allowed nine goals all season, the third fewest in NJCAA Division III.

First-Team All-Region: Nicolai Peralta

First-Team All-Region: Marc Augustin

Sophomore, Forward - Augustin is Nassau's leading scorer with 20 goals scored, ranking fourth in the NJCAA, along with four assists.

First-Team All-Region: Matteo Kanakaris

Sophomore, Midfield - Kanakaris leads Nassau in assists with nine, along with six goals scored.


 

Second-Team All-Region: Marco Russo

Sophomore, Forward - Russo's 15 goals places him 15th in the nation for goals scored.

Honorable Mention: Michael Perez- Barrios

Freshman, Defense - Perez-Barrios is an integral part of Nassau's defensive line. The Lions have only allowed nine goals all season, the third fewest in NJCAA Division III.
