Lions Women's Basketball Freshman Aiyana Hamilton has received Second Team All American Honors. She finished the season ranked fourth nationally in scoring averaging 23.2 points per game as well as breaking the NCC school record for points in a single game when she scored 51 points in a game against LaGuardia on February 10, 2024. Hamilton Also received Region XV Player of the Year leading the Lions to a 20-9 overall record, 13-3 in conference record and a top 10 national ranking leading to a National Tournament bid.

Lions Head Coach Brian Kuar had this to say about Hamilton receiving this honor:
Aiyana is a coaches dream! She's a hard-worker and often the hardest worker, coachable & got better as the year went on. She was a key contributor in our rise into the top 10 NJCAA DIII women's basketball rankings, receiving at large bid into NJCAA national tournament & 12 game win streak to finish the regular season. Aiyana is a future professional basket all player in my eyes.

Congratulations to Aiyana on this tremendous achievement and we look forward to seeing what Hamilton will do and achieve moving forward in her athletics journey.
Go Lions!
