The Nassau Community College men's soccer team continued its strong run through conference play with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Monroe-Bronx on Saturday afternoon. The win moved the Lions ahead of Monroe-Bronx in the Region XV standings, placing Nassau fourth in the conference. The Lions showed poise and resilience, erasing an early deficit and controlling play in the second half to secure a crucial Region XV win.
How It Happened
	- First Half: Monroe struck early when Brando Tuba scored in the 6th minute off a pass from Salim Anas to give the Express a 1-0 lead. Nassau responded with several chances, including a pair of shots on goal from Jeremy Ramos and Benjamin Perez, but trailed 1-0 at halftime despite holding a 7-3 edge in shots.
- Second Half: Nassau came out firing after the break. In the 54th minute, Christian Cabrera equalized with a perfectly timed header off an Alexis Gomez free kick to level the match at 1-1. Just five minutes later, the Lions drew a foul inside the box and Ramos buried the ensuing penalty kick to give the Lions a 2-1 advantage. Goalkeeper Bryan Hernandez made two key saves down the stretch, and the defense withstood a late Monroe push to preserve the one-goal victory.

- Ramos netted his team-leading 11th goal of the season with the game-winning penalty.
