The Nassau Community College men's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to eight matches with a dominant 7-0 win over Queensborough Community College on Tuesday afternoon at Mitchel Field, outscoring opponents 49-3 during the eight game stretch.
How It Happened
	- First Half: Nassau controlled possession from the opening whistle and broke through in the 30th minute when Mohamed Alsayedi converted a pass from Jeremy Ramos to make it 1-0. Just five minutes later, Ramos returned the favor, scoring off an Alsayedi assist in the 34th minute. The Lions kept pressing, and only 21 seconds later, Cristhian Ramos Monsalve finished unassisted to push the lead to 3-0. Nassau closed the half with relentless pressure, outshooting Queensborough 18-4.
- Second Half: Alsayedi completed his hat trick with two quick goals to open the half. After his initial penalty kick was stopped in the 46th minute, he buried the rebound to make it 4-0, then struck again in the 51st minute on a setup from Jayden Marcia. Ramos Monsalve added his second goal in the 54th minute, also assisted by Marcia, with a header off a cross from 20 yards out. Makhai Noel capped the scoring in the 84th minute when he finished a pass from Brandy Balde for the final 7-0 margin.

	- Alsayedi recorded a hat trick and an assist to lead the Lions' offense.
- Ramos scored once and assisted once, while Ramos Monsalve scored twice.
- Noel added a goal, and Marcia contributed two assists off the bench.
- Goalkeeper Bryan Hernandez made five saves for his fifth shutout win of the season.
- Nassau outshot Queensborough 32-17, including a 13-5 edge in shots on goal, and held a 5-2 advantage in corner kicks.
