The Nassau Community College women's volleyball team delivered its biggest statement of the season, sweeping its home double dual on Saturday with a 3-1 win over Borough of Manhattan Community College and a stunning 3-1 victory over previously undefeated Fashion Institute of Technology. The two wins improved the Lions to 17-5 overall and 14-2 in Region XV.

How It Happened

• Borough of Manhattan Match (3-1): Nassau opened the day with a balanced offensive effort, taking the first two sets behind Rhianna Miller's 10 kills and Alexandra Pierre-Saint's .417 hitting efficiency. After BMCC rallied to take the third, Nassau closed the door in the fourth behind strong serving from Jocelyn Teel and steady defense from libero Jenna Ramlogan, winning 25-18 to secure the match.
• Fashion Institute of Technology Match (3-1): The Lions followed with their most impressive win of the season, handing FIT its first loss of the year. Nassau came out sharp, hitting .433 in the opening set and .345 in the second, led by Miller's 14 kills and a dominant performance at the net from Pierre-Saint, who tallied eight blocks. After FIT took the third set, Nassau regrouped late in the fourth as Alanice Rios and Kayla Foreste each came up with clutch kills down the stretch to close out a 25-23 win and the upset.

• Miller led all attackers across both matches with 24 kills and a .364 hitting percentage.
• Pierre-Saint totaled 11 kills and eight blocks on the day.
• Rios recorded seven kills, eight aces, and 36 digs across the the two matches.
