The Nassau Community College men's basketball team defeated Suffolk County Community College by a score of 95-75 on Tuesday evening.

How it Happened

• The first half saw four lead changes between the teams, before a 6-0 run helped Nassau go into the halftime break leading 40-33.
• Nassau would hold the lead through the entire second half, with the team's largest lead being 26 points with 6:58 remaining in the game.
• The Lions outrebounded the Sharks 38-25, with 16 offensive rebounds food for 15 second chance points. Nassau protected the ball with just 10 turnovers and scored 41 points off the bench.
• Six Lions scored double-digit points.

• Donte Howard scored a triple-double in 30 minutes played with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.
• Gavin Johnston scored 14 points with five rebounds.
• Josue Jean came off the bench for 13 points in 14 minutes played.
