The #3 Nassau Community College men's lacrosse team opened the 2025 season with a 25-1 win against Delaware Technical & Community College on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened

• Brady Dolan opened the scoring for the Lions with three straight goals in the first five minutes of play. Dolan netted another at 7:31.
• Jake Lewis scored three goals in the first quarter for the Lions. Nassau led 9-0 after the first quarter.
• Nassau added two more goals to start the second quarter before Delaware scored one of their own at 8:12 to make the score 11-1.
• After leading 17-1 at halftime, Nassau scored eight more goals in the second half for a final score of 25-1.
• Nassau took 61 (39 SOG) total shots, compared to 9 (6 SOG) by Delaware.
• The Lions won 24 faceoffs, losing just four throughout the game.

• Brady Dolan led the Lions with 12 points off five goals and seven assists, along with three caused turnovers and three ground balls.
• Jake Lewis led Nassau in goals with seven, taking 12 shots. He also had two caused turnovers and four ground balls.
• Jack Lepore added four goals and two assists, with two caused turnovers and four ground balls.
• Ryan Krudis and Anthony Paris each scored two goals.
• Boden Bounds, Danny Higgins, Cameron Clarke, Mike DeMatteo, and Emanuel Menendez each contributed one goal for the Lions.
• Michael Zecchini went 18-22 on faceoffs with 14 ground balls.
• Goalkeeper Conor Dobson earned the win in net with three saves and one goal allowed through 30 minutes.
