Six Nassau Wrestlers Qualify For Nationals

Saturday February 22nd Nassau hosted the 2025 NJCAA Northeast District Championships, This saw a multitude of wrestlers from the Northeast District compete for their bid to the NJCAA Wrestling National Tournament. The Lions wrestled well and six wrestlers were able to punch their tickets to Iowa where they will compete in the National Tournament on March 7th and 8th. The following wrestlers are:

Shane Dobbins- 133lb Freshman

Ibrahim Khan- 157lb Sophomore- District Champion

Joseph Mattei- 165lb Sophomore- District Champion

Ali Khawaja- 174lb Freshman- District Champion

Noah Foster- 184lb Freshman

Dominick Albertelli- 285lb Freshman
