Men's Volleyball Takes Two Conference Wins Against Express & Mustangs

Result

The Nassau Community College men's volleyball team earned two Region XV conference wins on Saturday afternoon. Nassau defeated the Monroe University-Bronx Express by a score of 3-0, and battled the Monroe University Mustangs through a five set win. The Lions stand atop the conference, with one Region XV match remaining in the regular season.

How it Happened

  • Nassau took the first match against the Express by scores of 25-13, 25-11, and 25-16. The Lions totaled 29 kills and 10 service aces.
  • Against the Mustangs, Nassau won the first set 25-15, before dropping the next two both by a score of 25-20. The Lions fought back to win the final two sets 25-21 and 16-14. Nassau totaled 61 kills.
