Nassau Men's Golf Hosts Region XV Match at Eisenhower Red, Finishes Second
The Nassau Community College Men's Golf team returned to action on Monday, April 14th, hosting a Region XV match at the historic Eisenhower Red Course in East Meadow, NY.
The Lions fielded a five-man team for the home outing, with sophomore Vincent Disclafani once again leading the way. Disclafani posted the second-lowest individual round of the day, carding a 90. Sophomore Matthew Emmett followed with a 95, while freshmen Thomas Wildeman and Conor Mylett contributed rounds of 98 and 101, respectively. Freshman Vincent Mohan rounded out the lineup with a score of 124, bringing Nassau's team total to 384.
Nassau's consistent play earned them a second-place finish, just four strokes behind SUNY Orange, who claimed first with a team score of 380.
The Lions will look to carry their momentum forward as they continue Region XV play in the coming weeks.
