Nassau Community College turned in a strong performance on April 22 at Dunwoodie Golf Course, finishing second overall at the 2026 Westchester Men's Golf match in a competitive multi-team field.
Leading the way for Nassau was Jack Falco, who delivered the team's low round with an impressive 87 (44–43). Close behind was Anand Vikram, carding a 90 with a steady back nine (42), while Michael Kondrya added a 92 after improving by eight strokes on the back side. Conor Mylett rounded out the scoring four with a 97, highlighted by a significantly stronger back nine (44).
As a team, Nassau posted a top-four total of 366, securing a runner-up finish just behind host Westchester, who won the event with a 344. Orange (368) and Ulster (392) followed in third and fourth place, respectively.
Nassau showed resilience throughout the round, with multiple players making key adjustments after the turn to lower their scores on the back nine. The consistent scoring across the lineup proved to be the difference in holding off Orange for second place.
The Lions will look to build on this momentum as they continue their spring season, with their next outing seeing them travel to Middletown for the SUNY Orange hosted Region XV outing.The Lions have had encouraging individual performances pointing toward continued improvement in upcoming matches.
