Coach Jacobs played his College Lacrosse under Tony Seamen at Towson University where he was a standout player. At Towson he was part of two CAA Championship teams and two NCAA Tournament appearances.Coach Jacobs has experience coaching Football and Lacrosse at Plainview Old Bethpage High School as the Varsity Assistant Coach for many years, before moving to the Hempstead School District where he is a Physical Education Teacher at the Barack Obama Elementary School.Â

Coached one year at Nassau as Defensive Coordinator. Helped Nassau to an 11-4 record and NJCAA Semi Final appearance in 2017.Â

Coach Jacobs played his College Lacrosse under Tony Seamen at Towson University where he was a standout player. At Towson he was part of two CAA Championship teams and two NCAA Tournament appearances. Coach Jacobs is currently the Defensive Coordinator at Nassau Community College, a Nationally Ranked Program with 21 National Championships. He played his High School lacrosse at Plainview Old Bethpage JFK where he was a two time All County player and a member of the 2001 Long Island Empire Team Gold Medalists. Coach Jacobs has experience coaching Football and Lacrosse at Plainview Old Bethpage High School for many years before moving to the Hempstead School District. He is the Head Junior Varsity Football Coach at Hempstead High School, as well as a Physical Education Teacher at the Barack Obama Elementary School. Steve is the current Head Coach of the Recon Varsity 2018 Zulu Team and the Recon 2025/26 Youth Team.
